Following a thorough examination and consultation with one of our aesthetic physicians, we make use of these Juvederm products to make the most of your best features and produce results that are natural-looking.
Juvederm® filler treatments are minimally invasive with a short recovery time. Results with the product have been shown to last for up to 12 months.Facial fillers are used to smooth wrinkles and add volume in a subtle way to certain areas of the face which does not need surgical treatment.
It is a range of hyaluronic acid facial fillers with a smooth gel formulation. The gel is injected into the skin using an ultra-fine needle, which then fills lines and wrinkles and adds volume in the injected facial areas. The hyaluronic acid in the product retains water which further aids to hydrate the skin.
Results can last up to 18 months, depending on the area of injection.
Juvederm® enhances the face in three main ways which include revitalisation, lifts and definition.
Areas that can be treated with facial fillers are the glabella, crowsfeet, frown lines, nasio-labial folds, vertical lip lines and marionette lines from the mouth to the chin. We can also use it to treat any area of the face which shows volume-loss, including the cheeks, temporal area, lips and chin.
One week prior to treatment with facial fillers, the patient is advised to avoid alcohol, garlic, lidocaine, vitamin C and aspirin, or any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory containing diclofenac, indomethacin, mefenamic acid and ibuprofen medicines which will decrease the risk of bruising or bleeding following treatment.
