Our Practice is a Medical Aid contracted out practice. This means that our fees are higher than that recommended by the Medical aids. We do however submit claims on behalf of our patients and charge a levy that is payable immediately after treatment.

With regards to medical aids we would like to inform patients of the following:

  1. it remains the sole responsibility of each patient to get authorization from his Medical aid for any treatment carried out in our practice
  2. if the medical aid pays less than indicated, the outstanding amount remains the responsibility of the patient
  3. the levy amount is strictly payable with cash or card immediately after treatment. No EFT payments will be allowed
  4. private patients will be treated on a strict cash after treatment basis

Once treatment has been completed, the claim will be submitted electronically to your Medical Aid. Our claims are handled by an External company, Dentelle Solutions, that will take over the account for collection.
